You walk away from one of his speeches inspired. Kind of reminds me of the foward thinking JFK and his speeches that made you feel like anything was possible. - Papa Robert , posted 09/22/08 |

if he has a cousin who is king in Kenya. I suppose having a President that had familial ties to Hitler was okay with you Sun Ra? Huh? Anyway, Obama can go in there and do absolutely nothing and that would still be better than what Bush did, or what McCain will continue to do. What, jobs gone, at war, gas out the window, terrible handling of foreign policy, terrible handling of catastrophes, terrible management of out country's resources, terrible everything and you like Bush and his puppet master Cheney? Eat Shit. Or wait you already have and that is why you're such a dumbshit. - Tony , posted 06/16/08 |

If anybody thinks that obama is going to make things "better" *ha...* you are sadly mistaken... you are better off with bush, but you won't be able to understand that until it's too late. Just like toward the end of the clinton admin, "anybody but clinton" was the buzz, and look what you got..... if you gave a shit, you would at least educate yourself on what Ron Paul has been speaking about, but it's much easier to simply listen to fox news for your information... ~always know both sides before forming your opinion~ - Greenman ॐ.愛.۞ , posted 06/16/08 |

...and the example I'll give is...us. We've got a whole lot of socialized things in this country, when you think about it. For instance: 1) The Fire Department 2) Public education (when it's funded) 3) Libraries (see above) 4) Water 5) The Post Office 6) The Forest Service (rangers and the like) Now, if we could only add 'Health Care' to that list.... - Maltese p.s. The only reason why I don't give Obama five stars as a rating is that Theodore and Franklin Delano Roosevelt are my two favorite presidents and role models, and my heart is already given to both of them. :) - Maltese , posted 06/15/08 |

But you're not going to get it with Obama or McCain. They're just the two evils we have to choose from. Obama is a lie. Everything he says is a lie, and he has been a complete nobody as a senator. The only thing he really stands for is anti-Americanism. I don't care what color he is, he reeks of racism and hate. Socialism has never worked anywhere, and neither John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, or Hussien can make it work here. The experiment would destroy this great country. I have no choice but to vote for McCain. - Lester , posted 06/15/08 |

I would love to see America actually give "change" a chance. And I don't mean "change" in the bumper sticker type fashion. I mean can we actually elect a leader who looks, sounds and thinks differently than the ones we've had since inception? And since when does one "have" to be Christian to be president of a country that has Freedom of Religion? As a non-christian, I'd like to be able to raise my children to know that they can aspire to the highest office in a land that separates church and state without their religious beliefs or lack of beliefs being called into question. - Niobe , posted 06/15/08 |

Obama and Odinga are not real cousins President Obama has been previously linked as a distant cousin of Vice-President Dick Cheney as well ... when will these haters give it up? tracing his family tree of 10 and 15 generations, it's blatant racism In the American sense, a cousin is the child of your parents’ siblings. But in Luo culture, the members of your father’s or mother’s clans are your cousins. A clan would typically have hundreds of thousands of members, and the relationship is more political than biological. The Obama campaign denies that the senator and Mr Odinga are cousins. And three Kenya experts interviewed by Politifact also dismissed this claim. As Democrats and Republicans are you all so intent on race that you would risk splitting this country down racial lines and let McCain win? - Metaphysics , posted 06/15/08 |

We had a great field of candidates this year and I would have taken any of them (my first choice was John Edwards, but I'm pleased with Obama). My only concern is that Sen. Obama may be too honest and straightforward and leaves himself open to evil and unkind attack from the political machine. Sen McCain served his country well as a serviceman and suffered as a POW. He has not been an effective or good senator and has seemed to "sold out" to the "neo-cons". Let's send him home with our sincerest thank you for his service to the nation during the Viet Nam era. Being a veteran does not automatically qualify a person to be President. Obama will win, and let's hope things can get better....... soon. - Jeffrey , posted 06/15/08 |

If you're someone who swallows whole the ridiculous tabloid rumors spread by unscrupulous blogs and media fuckwits, you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Do some REAL research! - Lovemonkey , posted 06/15/08 |
